Jonas Ljungqvist appointed as New Regional Director of the Frankfurt Chapter

PRMIA formally announces today the appointment of Jonas Ljungqvist as the new Regional Director of the Frankfurt Chapter. Jonas Ljungqvist is currently Head of Risk Control at the SEB subsidiary in Germany and also Deputy Head of Group Credit Risk Control and Quantification at the Head Office in Stockholm. During the 12 years at SEB Jonas had positions in not only Risk Control but also in Group Treasury and as Project Leader for the Basel 2 implementation in the Baltic subsidiaries. Prior to joining SEB he worked as a bond trader at another Swedish bank. Jonas holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Uppsala University in Sweden.

PRMIA Frankfurt’s main goals will be to increase membership and advocate the Professional Risk Managers’ Certification. The chapter is currently conducting a survey of the membership where they hope to obtain critical feedback from members on the types of events they are interested in attending including topics and format. By organizing events based on member feedback the Frankfurt chapter will be able to provide a platform where members can take advantage of opportunities to hear about current best practices, network and educational training and certifications, like the Professional Risk Managers’ Certification.

Jonas will be replacing Robert Fiedler, the current Regional Director of the Frankfurt Chapter. PRMIA would like to take this opportunity to thank Robert for his contributions to the Frankfurt chapter and PRMIA.
