John Lehman Announced as New Co-Regional Director to lead the Houston Chapter
PRMIA announces today the appointment of John Lehman as the new Co-Regional Director of the Houston Chapter. John has 20 years of experience in various aspects of risk and risk management. He has worked in the financial services sector and in the energy industry in front office trading and marketing as well as in risk management and control. He has also done risk assessment and management work for major capital investments and decision analysis for capital investments and strategic planning. John has published a number of articles on risk and uncertainty as they relate to decision making, and was recently elected a Fellow of the Society of Decision Professionals.
John Lehman will be replacing Sharm Baker as Co-Regional Director of the Houston Chapter alongside Co-Regional Director Warren Murdoch. PRMIA would like to take this opportunity to thank Sharm Baker for her contributions to the Houston chapter and PRMIA.
Along with increasing the visibility of PRMIA in the Houston area, John’s goal is to broaden the organization’s scope to include more topics of relevance to the oil and gas industry. He will accomplish this goal by working through other organizations in the area whose reasons for existence involve risk but for whom risk is not an area of expertise.
PRMIA would like to acknowledge the Steering Committee members of the Houston chapter who will help the chapter achieve its goals:
° Hanwen Chang, Wood Mackenzie
° Chris David, PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP
° John Hale, KBR
° Frank Hayden, Fortis
° Sidney Jacobsen, PA Consulting Group
