Sutirta Budiman to lead the Indonesia Chapter as Co-Regional Director
PRMIA announces today the appointment of Sutirta Budiman as the new Co-Regional Director of the Indonesia Chapter.
Sutirta Budiman will lead the chapter alongside current Regional Director Antonius Alijoyo. He currently holds the positions of Chief Business Risk Officer with PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (“BNI”) and as Independent Commissioner with PT. BNI Securities. As Chief Business Risk Officer, he is responsible for overseeing the management of credit risk throughout the bank’s organization. Before joining BNI, he was the principal and President Director of Daiva Asia, a consulting and training company focusing primarily on risk management in the financial industry.
Sutirta started his professional career as management trainee with Citibank N.A. Since then he has worked for various companies both in financial and non-financial industries. He graduated with Bsc in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, University of London.
The chapter will focus on holding chapter meetings and working with local risk management associations. It will also investigate working with Indonesia universities to promote risk management curriculum.
