Proposed Schedule of PRMIA Seattle 2010 Events
PRMIA Seattle steering committee met in early August for its quarterly meeting to discuss and map out the 2010 events.
After a very successful University outreach program in Jan this year, we went a bit quiet on events. Some of us have been busy with PRMIA Future state of Risk mgmt survey but neverthless we need to pick up the momentum.
Some of the ideas discussed being:
1. PRMIA Seattle Book Club - discuss latest Risk books/publication
2. Excel bootcamp jointly with CFA society
3. Emerging areas like Alternative Energy & Risk aspects
4. Risks in Non-Profits
5. Continue programs with the local universities
Based on the above, some of the proposed events for rest of 2010 are. These will be a mix of face to face meetings & webinars.
1. Aug- Publish PRMIA Seattle led 2010 Future state of Risk survey
2. Sept-Roundtable on Future state of Risk
3. Sept-Financial Inclusion & Risk - Experiments around the world
4. Oct- Joint program with other bodies at local Universities
5. Nov- Emerging areas - Reputation Risk, Legal Risk, Non-Proft, Alternative Energy
We are happy to have your thoughts and ideas on topics that you would like to hear.
