A Complete Course in Risk Management
Through our extensive network of academic partners, PRMIA offers numerous training opportunities to the risk management community. One of our cornerstone courses is the Complete Course in Risk Management. This course covers all major elements of financial risk management and is tuned to a graduate level of study. The body of material is extensive and the universities we partner with are the top schools in the country, with instructors that are the best in the industry.
For 2011, we are proud to offer "A Complete Course in Risk Management" at George Washington University (GWU). This course takes a quantitative approach to risk management. A certain level of mathematical knowledge is beneficial. This includes basic understanding of equations, what a variable is, the use of logarithms and exponentials, and some familiarity with mathematical manipulations. Exposure to statistics is recommended.
