Lessons for Financial Risk Management from the Great Recession

Join us in welcoming Dr. David M. Rowe to our upcoming DC-PRMIA Chapter meeting. See the event announcement that went out earlier today, April 30, 2010. Many of you know Dr. Rowe from your reading of Risk Magazine. David has a monthly column that appears in this widely read industry magazine and is a highly regarded thought-leader in the risk management profession.

When: June 1, 2010

Where: IBM @ 1301 K Street Northwest, DC

What: Chapter meeting. One-hour talk + some chapter business

Event Link: Click here

Light refreshments will be provided by IBM, and we want to thank IBM for hosting the event.

If you are a member of PRMIA-DC, we ask that you do your best to attend this Chapter meeting. After David's presentation we want to introduce you to your Steering Committee (SC), give you some background on some new sub-committees that the SC has established, briefly cover some Chapter by-law points, and review some training information with you. Sounds like a lot, but it should only take about :15 minutes.

Thank you,

Thomas Day &
Syed Ahmed

(By the way, we now have a PRMIA-DC LinkedIn site. Please join!)
