Academic and Industry Professionals to Judge 2006 PRM Candidate of the Year Awards

The Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA) today announced the members of the review committee for the 2006 PRM Candidate of the Year Award. This committee, comprised of representatives from academia and practice, drawn from diverse geographies and industries, will select the five finalists for the 2006 PRM Candidate of the Year Award and will participate in the selection of the overall winner.

Six Members Honored With 2006 PRM Focus Award of Distinction

The Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA) has honored six PRM certification candidates from 2005 with its Focus Award of Distinction.

The Focus Award of Distinction is given to risk managers achieving the top scores of all candidates in the world, on one of the required four exams of the PRM program during the prior calendar year. This is the third year the award has been given. The winners are:

PRMIA Members Comment on US Senate Climate Conference White Paper

PRMIA members from 16 countries submitted comments for inclusion in a document that was provided to the U.S. Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, in preparation for their Climate Conference.

Comments were made based on four questions posed in the Senate Committee's White Paper about design elements of a mandatory market-based greenhouse gas regulatory system. You can download the White Paper by clicking here.
