Important News Regarding PRMIA Pricing Changes

Effective January 1, 2009, PRMIA will be making changes to its Sustaining membership fees, discount structure, and Professional Risk Managers' (PRM) Handbook pricing. We recommend that you read through the details below and consider taking advantage of our current pricing during these last few weeks of 2008 to stock up on those materials that will help you navigate your way through our current troubled economic times.

Sustaining membership fee
PRMIA is dedicated to providing resources, networking, and thought leadership to help our members achieve the highest standards from the cradle to the pinnacle of their careers. Sustaining members form the foundation of our organization. Through their support and commitment, we are able to offer a free and open forum for the promotion of sound risk management standards and practices worldwide.

PRMIA offers three levels of Sustaining memberships -- full Sustaining members, Low-Income Economy, and full-time Student. The PRMIA full Sustaining membership fee will increase from $100 to $125 annually. The Sustaining membership fee for Low-Income Economy members and full-time Student members will be $50 annually.     Sustaining member discounts
    To receive discounts on the purchase of PRMIA products and registrations for PRMIA-led training courses and events, you will need to be a Sustaining member. PRMIA will no longer offer scholarship discounts. Sustaining members will also receive varied discounts on PRMIA-led training courses and events.


    Publications
    Pricing on the complete PRM Handbook Volume, single books within the series, and the Professional Risk Managers' Guide to the Energy Market will be changing as outlined in the chart below. Sustaining member discount rates will apply to all of these books. If you are a PRM Exam candidate, we encourage you to purchase your PRM Handbook now before the prices rise in January.
