PRMIA and The American University in Cairo Partner to Offer A Complete Course in Risk Management
In today's volatile financial market, the need for risk management education at all levels of management is critical. To meet that need, PRMIA and the International Executive Education Institute of The American University in Cairo have partnered together to offer the Complete Course in Risk Management.
This non-degree executive education course will be held October 25 - 29, 2009 in Cairo and is designed to provide participants with a broad and solid foundation of knowledge that will prepare them to effectively practice risk management. Click here for more information on this course.
"The events of the past eighteen months underscore the importance of risk management and clearly illustrate how much work lies ahead. Being a partner with PRMIA is a significant step forward as we strive to enhance the quality of Risk Management Education across a wider audience through The American University in Cairo and its International Executive Education Institute (IEEI), said Dr. Stephen Everhart, Associate Dean - School of Business, The American University in Cairo. "Providing managers with tools and a framework for examining the presence of 'Black Swans' won't prevent the next financial markets seizure, but it may lessen the amplitude of the swing."
PRMIA, in conjunction with the American University in Cairo and its other leading Academic Partners around the world, seeks to set the international standards for graduate level education in risk management and financial engineering, to offer training and development programs in finance and risk management worldwide, and to reinvest the proceeds of these activities into further educational efforts, scholarly research, and scholarships.
