<description><![CDATA[<p>I hold a bachelor degree in Actuarial Sciences from the Venezuela Central University, and advanced studies in Risk Management. I have facilitated and participated in workshops, courses and seminars on risk management and financial topics in Latin America, Bermuda, USA and the UK.<br />
In 1986 I began my professional career as an insurance underwriter, retail insurance broker and reinsurance underwriter for a wide portfolio of energy, industrial and commercial business. Since 1990 I have performed as board member, senior manager, controller, treasury manager and risk manager, responsible for the deployment of service delivery, best practices, banking operations, financial investments, debt administration, credit management, risk management, insurance and reinsurance sourcing, either as shareholder, external consultant or employee for financial services, industrial and energy companies in Venezuela, Western and Southern U.S.A., Central America and Puerto Rico.</p>]]></description>
