About Sai Sireesh

Sai is responsible for developing and executing Microsoft strategy & approach to meet the Risk Management & Compliance solutions needs of the financial sector. He earlier was the Strategist for Banking & Capital Markets at Microsoft Asia Pacific. Deeply passionate about Financial Services and Risk Management industry, Sai has been deeply involved in the incubation of PRMIA chapters in Asia Pacific and currently serves pro bono as the Vice Chair-Asia Pacific, RD Standards Committee for PRMIA (Professional Risk Manager's International Association).

He has over 15 years of global experience across Financial sector solutions, Enterprise risk consulting & Financial sector strategic initiatives. He has worked in North America, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and India. His earlier stints have been at a KPMG member firm, Reuters Risk Practice, Banque Nationale De Paris & BPI Investment Mgmt.

An MBA(finance) with a computer engineering degree, he has attended courses at INSEAD, Financial Engineering Center-NUS Singapore & Berkman Centre for Internet Law, Harvard Law School.

He has authored several articles on Risk & Compliance.

He has also served as:

- Trustee Director, Board of directors of Reuters Centenary Fund Plc UK, 2001

- Advisor/Mentor, Stanford University's Digital Vision fellowship project, 2003

- Volunteer, Rural Credit Delivery Prototype, International Institute of Info. Technology, Bangalore, India, 2005

- Co-Regional Director, PRMIA Singapore, 2003-2006
