College/University RelationshipsAs an increasing number of finance faculties are offering risk management programs, there is growing interest among academics and students for an industry-wide professional risk management certification such as the PRMIA Professional Risk Manager program. Universities can draw on the PRMIA program as a valuable resource to enhance and develop their financial risk management curricula. Students wishing to pursue a risk management career can boost their job opportunities by passing the PRMIA exams and joining the growing ranks of certified industry professionals. PRMIA's Academic Advisory Council leads the association's collaborative efforts with the academic world. The Council is charged with fostering a two-way flow of information and resources between PRMIA members and leading academic institutions, and works with PRMIA to best meet the needs of these institutions.
