Samantha Roberts isSenior Financial Engineer (Economist) in the Office of Capital SupervisionOffice of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight, WashingtonD.C., and currently is Coordinator of OFHEO’s Operational Risk Capital Taskforce (ORCTF).She has carried out focused research projects designed toimprove risk modeling at the agency charged with monitoring the safety and soundness of the two largest housing Government Sponsored Enterprises.Previously, Roberts held the position of Senior Financial Economist at the Federal Housing Finance Board, Econometrician and Financial Analyst atCentral Bank of Ecuador and the Inter-American Development Bank, Quito-Ecuador, and Project Leader and EconometricianThe World Bank, Quito-Ecuador.Roberts holds a PhD in Econometrics and International Finance from University of Pittsburgh and holds the Financial Risk Managers (FRM) designation.
