PRMIA Presents Annual Frontiers in Risk Management Award

PRMIA congratulates Carole Bernard and Steven Vanduffel, the recipients of this year's Frontiers in Risk Management Award. Ms. Bernard and Mr. Vanduffel received a $5000 monetary prize for their paper "A New Approach to Assessing Model Risk in High Dimensions." This award is given annually by PRMIA during the ERM Symposium.

Their paper was selected by the ERM Symposium Call for Papers review committee. Papers were judged on their ability to strengthen the practice of enterprise risk management by opening new perspectives and strengthening available insights, methods and tools.

Ms. Bernard is with the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Waterloo, and Mr. Vanduffel is with the Department of Economics and Political Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
