The PRMIA web site is the place to find the resources to help you in your work, to connect with other PRMIA members who share your interests, continue your professional development through the PRM program, find employees or a new job, register for PRMIA events and much more. All of the resources on the site are free and help us to fulfill our mission of advancing the risk profession. Because it is such a popular resource with members, we're adding to and improving our offerings.

The PRMIA Jobs Board gets over 16,000 searches every month. There are no other jobs boards for risk professionals that feature as many openings. Recently, we surveyed those who post positions to the board and based on their feedback we've scheduled some upgrades to make it easier to use. Job posters will be able to post their openings in multiple categories with one listing, view the statistics on their posting, including the number of times it has been viewed, be able to search for candidates from the PRM resume database (see below) and perform editing of their postings more easily. Job seekers will be able to send a link to their PRMIA membership profile to the employer with one simple click.

To recognize the achievements of those who have attained the PRM and to encourage their continuing professional development, PRMIA will be launching a PRM-Only section of the web site. PRMs will automatically be granted access to this area which will feature unique resources, access to discounts on continuing professional development offerings and more. In addition, because PRMs have distinguished themselves through their achievements, they will have the ability to post detailed resumes online which can be searched by those looking to fill job openings.

Continuing the improvment in PRMIA member-only resources is important to us. In the next month or so, you'll see a new menu page when you login, registration for PRMIA chapter events will be done using your username and access to the links, jobs board and other features will be moved to the members-only section. In addition, ROSE, an exciting new feature for PRMIA members will be launched in September. Again, ROSE will only be available to you as a registered member.

We have many other plans for enhancing your experience on the PRMIA web site and making it easier for you to grow in your professional skills. As always, membership in PRMIA remains free!
