Speaker: Mr. Steven Smallsman, Head of Liquidity Risk Review, Standard Chartered Bank. "Over the past decade liquidity management in banks has undergone drastic changes. In this talk we will look at the regulatory changes; how banks have adapted; the impact on banking clients; and some changes that are yet to come. During the talk we will look at the role of Group Treasury and some of the tools available to treasury professionals for liquidity management."

Speaker: Dr. Suiunbek Ibraev, Head of MRM Analytics and Market Price Control, OCBC Bank. "One of the most hyped buzz word of 2017 is Blockchain. Many startups and financial institutions announced the solutions based on Blockchain. The Blockchain in the current form is limited to a few applications. It is a long way before it find its way into the banking, in particular into the risk management. In this short talk we highlight the difficulties the practitioners have."
