This pre-conference workshop, led by industry expert and author, Stefan Loesch, will provide Executive Leaders a means to address FinTech opportunities within their current or emerging Regulatory Strategy Framework. The course will provide practical and hands-on methods that Financial Institute leaders may deploy to ensure their institution is protected or ready to address regulatory impacts given the FinTech companies they work with.
By attending this lecture, participants will:
• Understand how to address regulations within your strategy framework in an effort to address FinTech
• Understand how FinTech partners can help or hinder how you address incumbents in your space (competition or coopetition)
• Address the regulatory impact on your firm when working with FinTech companies, or engaging with FinTech start ups
• Be able to protect your financial institute when there are regulatory breaches due to work with FinTech companies

About the Speaker
Stefan Loesch is a finance guy who understands maths, strategy and technology. Or a tech guy who understands finance, strategy, and maths. Stefan’s past roles include consulting for one of the major strategy houses, and an investment banker with one of the bulge bracket banks. He also studied theoretical physics, and was a derivatives quant.
