The conference seeks to link students with industry professionals and firms so that students can explore potential career opportunities and learn more about desired skills, challenges and opportunities in the finance, risk and data science industries.

The Finance and Risk Management Career Conference will have the following:
- A keynote presentation by Remco van Eeuwijk, the Chief Risk Officer of Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo).
- An expert panel about opportunities and challenges in the rapidly growing area of data science and risk.
- Employer kiosks that will allow interested students to interact and discuss opportunities with potential employers.
- An additional kiosk that will provide information on the 2019 PRMIA Risk Management Challenge, which is a worldwide case competition that will simulate up-to-date and real-life risk management challenges.
