Key question of the last year's event was whether the investment into strengthening of risk culture managed to eradicate behaviors that contributed to the previous financial crises or were these behaviors likely to resurface in the wake of weaker controls.
This year's focus is on the assessment of the Organisational Culture more broadly and Risk Culture in particular, effects of the investment into Risk Culture on the performance of a financial institution and the effectiveness of this investment, including possible quantitative measures.
Discussion points:
1. Does investment into Risk Culture deliver long-term results?
2. What effect does Risk Culture have on the performance of the financial institution and whether it can be measured?
3. How to approach external assessment of Organisational and Risk Culture of a financial institution?
4. Do quantitative measures, e.g. Risk Culture ROI, make sense?.
