Blockchain Risk Management
PRMIA Lahore-Islamabad presents Blockchain Risk Management: risk functions should play an active role in developing Blockchain strategy. Blockchain peer-to-peer framework offers the potential to transform the current business processes by dis-intermediating central entities, improving efficiencies, creating immutable audit trails, lowering costs, decreasing settlement times, and improving transparency. Such transformation would change the basic business operations at financial institutions as most of the transactions would be P2P in nature. Firms would have to establish robust risk management strategy, governance and controls framework.
