About This Webinar

Climate is changing. We present a number of long-term climate scenarios and discuss the risks associated with these. This includes the risks to physical assets (for example, property and farmland), as well as the economic risks associated with transition to a green economy. These risks thus impact many financial portfolios, including real estate financing and insurance, as well as investments in carbon-based industries, such as coal and automobiles. Managing these risks requires a new set of risk strategies, tools and methodologies. Our talk will provide an illustration of how this should be managed, as well as defining future challenges for the risk management profession.
