The objective is to discuss the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision consultative document on revision of market risk measurement.
The consultative document is the outcome of the Basel Committee work to improve approaches on the evaluation of market risk for the purpose of capital treatment for banks. Brief overview of changes is available in the Bank of Russia press-release.
The round table of May 24 is another event in a series of discussing the Basel Committee documents on modifications to market risk assessment. Previous meeting was held on September 27, 2017. Additional information on the discussion that took place is available here.
