Addressing Sustainability Risk
Join PRMIA New York, ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), and TCFA (The Chinese Finance Association) for a panel discussion on addressing sustainability risk.
Date:
March 17, 2021
Time:
12:00 - 1:00 p.m. EDT
Session Length:
60 minutes
This panel discussion will bring together senior-level professionals specialized in ESG investment and risk management to discuss how organizations of all sizes and sectors are addressing sustainability risks. We will discuss the ways in which Covid-19 presents opportunities to make the organizational model changes needed to effectively address sustainability risks.
We will discuss the role the finance function plays in helping organizations better understand ESG risks and how they interconnect with other risks, both financial and non-financial. We will look at how to integrate this into current risk frameworks, and run through the challenges, for example, the lack of data and mix of different standards.
