PRMIA Vancouver - New Regional Director Announcement

PRMIA announces today the appointment of Carl Densem as the new Regional Director of the Vancouver Chapter. In his role as a Senior Analyst at Central 1 Credit Union’s Integrated Risk department he is responsible for model risk oversight, enterprise risk management reporting and assessing internal capital adequacy. He has previously worked for Aviva Investors North America and Voya Investment Management in various risk roles. 

As chapter leader he and the Vancouver Steering Committee plan to collaborate with other local organization with similar educational aims as PRMIA. Through events, they plan to continue to promote PRMIA webinars and PRMIA training offerings. They also plan to continue to expand the PRMIA Vancouver network through one-on-one introductions and continuing conversations about contemporary issues in risk management.

Carl will be replacing Carlos da Costa as Regional Director of the Vancouver Chapter.  PRMIA would like to take this opportunity to thank Carlos for his contributions to the Vancouver chapter and PRMIA.   Carlos served the Vancouver membership as Regional Director from February 2010 – October 2017 and was the key factor in cultivating a successful PRMIA network in British Columbia.  PRMIA is extremely grateful that Carlos continues his support for PRMIA as a member of the PRMIA Global Council.
