At this panel, we will get to understand Resiliency Risk, compare it with traditional types of risk that we look at in Financial Services - e.g. Credit Risk, and get some insights on how this is being assessed and understood in the industry.

Keynote: Risk Management in the Era of Net-Zero Transition
Limiting the global average temperature increase to 1.5°C from pre-industrial levels over the next few decades requires a well-planned, whole-of-economy approach to achieving net-zero targets. This will require an unprecedented transformation across all sectors of society, affecting the way we produce and consume the goods and services that are essential to our lives. Considering the urgency and short-time window to decarbonize the global economy over the next three decades, the world has now reached a critical moment for transformative action. In her Keynote speech, Dr. Golnaraghi will discuss transitioning to a resilient net zero economy with focus on risk management, with focus on emerging risks and forward looking risk assessment, technological and organizational innovations, and regulatory requirements from the lens of corporations, investors and insurers.
Speaker: Maryam Golnaraghi
